Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating The DEN for our inaugural ribbon cutting alongside Mercer County Food Bank! It's been a great first year, and we have the numbers to back that. Since starting in August through the end of March, we've had 12,854 visits at the HS/MS location and reached 2,386 students at the elementary. We've distributed 699 Blue Devil Bags, our weekend meal bags, at the elementary school. Combined for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, we prepared 144 Holiday Helper baskets and gifted Christmas gifts to 63 students between all three buildings. All this was accomplished with overwhelming help from the community and our staff members. It's been an adventure, and we're so grateful for how well received The DEN has been.
